My busy life:)
Well, i figured it was time for another update! I'm feeling like i've been back home forever now but i'm enjoying it. My uncle just went to halifax to have kidney operation so he is now in recovery as well as my aunt who donated it to him...I would appreciate your prayers as they recuperate and hopefully return home to their farm in the near future.
My favorite part of being home has been joining a bible study in my church.....I never realized just how much I missed that this year. We have really good discussions every week and are doing a program where we work through the Bible. I find I am better able to participate since taking my religion course at Redeemer so i'm very thankful for that.
My job has gone very well this week and even tho the work can be monotonous as it is a lot of data input I also get to be involved in a lot of discussions having to do with situations being handled within the school districts. So, as it turns out its not so intimidating and I am having a blast with my own cubicle to myself with my own computer, filing cabinet, phone....lol, its the little things that count!!!
Anyways, I need to head off to church so i'll sign off for today!!
Love you all, Krista

A fun weekend before the work begins!!!
So, in celebration of the start of my job but mostly just because we can...lol, me and my parents(i know, partyyy!) are off to bangor, maine for the next two days in hopes of some good shopping and take a nice scenic drive! I actually don't have to start my job til tuesday because monday is a holiday and it being a government office I get my first day off....lol, a wonderful start!
well, no real news to report other than i'm enjoying my time at home, missing redeemer a ton, and hoping for lots of prayer as i begin my new intimidating job! Love to you all!
and so Here's something to think about: How come you never see a headline like 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

The Ups and Downs....:)'
But it was exciting to see all these ppls and I'm actually feeling excited to be here for the summer and be around to hang out and such. So, my plan to keep as busy as possible with two jobs and volunteering may be changing a little as now I want a weekend to go camping and nights to go out and some afternoons for the beach....who needs money?? friends are definitely more important!
So, anyways, Its really fun to be home seeing everyone finally(i was going to scream if i was stuck around the house any longer so its a good thing i got my car back!!)
I am running into a little bit of trouble now tho as i've found that my directional ability is still as bad as it always was and driving is a little bit troublesome with this dilema....lol. you'd think my sense of direction would catch up with me at some point but....i'm still waiting.
Anywho, i've babbled on enough. that is whats going on in my world at the moment. Also, please pray for me as there are some family issues that i will be dealing with this summer that could definitely require prayer!
I love you all! God bless!

A Dedication to my Redeemer roomies

Spring Banquet 2005
Well, as its been almost two weeks since school finished and I have been home for a few days now I suppose I have to face that my first year of university is over....although I have no idea how it went so fast!!! So this posting is dedicated to the girls who made my year so amazing.....I love you all a ton!
First, to my RA's, Mira and Erin.
Mira, even as I found you a little intimidating at the first of the year, you grew on me and I certainly hope that even tho I annoyed you with my upbeatedness(i really don't think thats a word but oh well) that I have grown on you as well! My favorite memory of you during this year is the time we spent together when we were paired off as praying partners. I loved that time so much and I thank you for your thoughts and your prayers as we spent hours talking on those nights. Also, I appreciate you so much for your ability to make me see things from a different point of view when I was being small minded. I will miss teasing you about your strange variety of foods next year. Good luck in the coming year!
Erin, you were probably the one to inspire me the most concerning my schoolwork! well, either that or i'll remember you for instilling in me a fear of the sight of you with a knife......;) but i want to thank you for all your help with my biology class and for you encouragement in the rest of my classes. My favorite memory of you is our long standing joke of "operation caluculus"...hehe, we expect a report in the fall! Also, i loved late night talks like the night we watched "American Outlaws"......thanks for a great year!
Maria, you are such an amazing person. I admire your confidence and perseverence. When you put your mind to something you do it to your full ability and that will bring you far in life! I loved doing biology with you and will never forget studying for our midterms or the breakfasts you've made me through the year.....thanks!! My favorite time with you is the day we spent shopping for your dress....we may not have found one but we sure did have fun! I love having you in our dorm!!! Can't wait to start next year with you!
Chels, my girl!!!!! you are so "rufus"..hehehe!!! Thanks for all the endless talks whenever I needed to discuss something to no end.....lol, you were great being so patient with me and keeping me in check in a lot of areas. My favorite memory of you this year is anytime we were dancing....lol, and the time we "borrowed" that couch!!! hehehe, too bad the fish had to pay for it:(
Reba, you are just so cute!! You were kinda quiet at first but we really made sure that didn't last long....hehehe. I love just hanging out with you anywhere and thank you so much for offering your opinion whenever I was in need of it. My favorite memory is our week in Vermont!! It was so much fun and I felt like we really grew closer during this week...I wouldn't trade it for anything!! (not even Florida..hehe) I'm gonna miss you so much this summer...especially your dance moves!!
Karina, who would ever have guessed that we would end up being dormmates in university when we started writing each other when we were 12 as Gems penpals!??!! I guess God really wanted us to meet huh? Well, I'm sure glad he did! You are so much fun and I love how random you are! I miss having you around already and can't wait to see you again in the fall. My favorite memory of you this year is simply how often you are seen going through the kitchen....lol, a great way to procrastinate!! lol
and finally....my fantasmic favorite roommate, Nikki! Once we got over the freakishness of how much we have in common in our lives and our belongings....lol, I loved sharing a room with you...not to mention a computer...lol! I admire your passion for God and dedication to your relationship with Him. Thanks for all the talks through the year; you were really there for me and i'm so glad that we got to grow so close this year! I miss having a roommate and can't wait to have you back next year:) I just can't pick a favorite time at all for this year......you have just been so much fun and more than i ever imagined for my roommate. I want you to know how special I think you are and that I couldn't have had as much fun as I did without you as my roomie....thanks for a great year!
To all my girls, I love you all a ton! Thanks for an amazing year and for those I'm living with in the fall, I know that the coming year will be even better! Have a great summer and keep in touch!
Big hugs to you all!!

ooooh, back in my dear province
I miss Redeemer already....just being in the dorm and being able to talk to my roomies all the time. Its weird being home and I don't think its sunk in yet that i'm going to be here for four months. I was excited to find out that rachel, my best friend, will be here for the summer tho and I can't wait to see everyone from church. Today me and rach went by our high school and saw a bunch of ppl who I used to go to school with. It was so weird to be there after a year but fun to feel like I've so moved on from high school and actually have a plan for life...maybe that sounds weird but I feel like I've really accomplished something since being in high school and maybe am even on the way to being adult......someday...lol. But, really, it feels amazing to know that i'm no longer just some high school kid but a university student on the way to being a physiotherapist. I can make plans and dream.....and I don't have to check in with my parents first...lol. I actually have a plan to follow through on and feel good about. Both scary and exciting....hehe.
Well, I hope that everyone is doing well....I miss all you guys at Redeemer so much!!! Still, God has brought me back to New Brunswick for the summer and I am excited to see what he has in store for me while I am here. So, four months of being back in New Brunswick!!! Here I go!
Love ya all lots!
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and grant you peace!
