End of summer??!!??

Hey guys...well, a week and three days and i'll be traveling to ontario...back for third year!!! Yay!!! I'm pretty excited cuz i have a week and a half once i get there before school starts to hang out with Ian and go to his brothers wedding and go camping with some of my favoritest people:) I can't believe the summer is gone but all in all it was a great summer....didn't work enough therefore still don't have enough money but thats fairly typical for any Redeemer student anyways right? So, I can't wait to see all my Redeemer people and my former dormmates....yay!!! miss you girls so much!!! So to you all, see you soon and hope you guys are as excited to come back as I am!!! Emails...

So, sometimes these emails go around that are just too cute to delete or just hit the mark so appropriately that you can't get it out of your mind.......Well, I remember i received this one a couple of months ago and just found it again now......I think its cute... and good advice too!! Its easy to settle for less rather than let go and wait for the best...BUT its so worth it!!! So to all my girls, know that God loves you and you are the daughter of the King....don't let anyone treat you as anything less!

awww, cute right? I know there is no perfect man and no perfect relationship but I believe that if God is in the relationship then He can work in you to have this respect and love for each other at all times...good and bad!!

AWWWWW, aren't we cute?? More so when he's in New Brunswick I think:) hehee, yup....Ian was just here for the week and we had a great time...went to fundy and pei and lots of beaches and he had to meet all the family and church and friends....how overwhelming....hehe, it was great! Now, I can't wait to come back in the fall and be in my house and so close to everyone else as well as Ian!!! Summer has arrived...:)

Hello all:) well, we finally are having some nice weather after about three weeks of mostly rain...it was terrible! Last weekend we had to cancel a camping trip due to thundershowers! So hopefully from this point on we will get that hot and dry summer that we have heard so much about...hehe.... Well, I guess its been a while since I updated but not all that much has happened... I am here at home still working at the Department of Education and volunteering for a Physiotherapy clinic...and in my spare time do bible study and just hanging out with some friends or talking to Ian whom I miss muchly:( But he will be coming in two weeks exactly for a week to see my precious home town as well as Prince Edward Island and some other beautiful spots such as the Bay of Fundy:) It'll be a great time!! I'm so excited!! So not anything new...just starting to get bridesmaid things ready for Rach's wedding and doing a going to a few weddings showers....great fun but getting expensive! F'ton for the summer

Hey all....well, here i sit in my living room on my new laptop that my dad got me for school next year...just an old one from work that was lying around but its got wireless internet which is pretty awesome since f'ton has free wireless!! pretty fun....So, since i got home i've driven my new car twice, got a new laptop, have been in the new hottub about five times and my mom bought me some new clothes too!!..a shirt from hawaii and a shirt saying toronto maple leafs onit....lol, for ian's benefit since he likes them...lol. she's so cute. so its been a pretty good time....May is going to be a pretty busy month since we are going to bangor, then a newsboys concert and then back to ontario for graduation in the next few weeks but on the other hand i'm still waiting for my job to be approved so in general i'm pretty free...lol, which will probably get old in about a day..ugh...but maybe i'll be able to see friends a lot while i'm waiting...:)

Well, anyways, i'm back in f'ton, safe and sound, the drive was good and its good to be back seeing everyone, despite missing all my good friends at Redeemer and not having Ian here with me:( but Ontario isn't that far away so its all good:)

A NEW ERA...sort of

Well, today marks two weeks from the day I will move back to fredericton never to live on campus with these girls who I have come to love so much again!!! Tear.....really, it makes me want to cry. Sure, I'm excited for a new house to move into and decorate...it will be a great time...but it wont' be like it was and with every new beginning you need a little time of mourning of what is being left.....I will miss it muchly.
Well, Also, it is two weeks til I come home and I still don't have my job confirmed...and if this one doesn't go through then i have got problems!!! hehe, good times!!! Ian keeps saying that I should just stay here, which is tempting but my sister is living at home as well for the summer so it is a final summer as a family sort of thing now....and I am looking forward to helping celebrate Rach's wedding this summer...that still doesn't feel real!! Weddings...who does that?? lol, apparently a lot since I know like six couples getting married this summer...good times. So in two weeks, I will leave Redeemer housing....(not soo sad..lol), my Redeemer roomies(not that i won't EVER see them again), my boyfriend and my pretty new house... for four months!! Not that dramatic I suppose but its always hard to switch gears between lives(ie home and school). Still, I bought a car ....see!!!!

So I'm excited to drive that and see all my friends at home who I have missed while here!!!

I guess overall I should just be thankful for how blessed I am to be able to be in two different places and have such great people around me that I love and love me....who make me want to be in both places at once!! Thank your Lord for your wondrous gifts!!

Finally, I would like to wish you all a Happy Easter! Praise God for his great gift and all that He has done for us. Above all, without Him, my life would be empty.

Spring Banquet 2006

Well, the time for banquet this year finally arrived last night and it was a great time. It is a scary thought that it is already arrived because that means there is six weeks til i go home and four til exams! And then I head back to fredericton for the summer, hopefully with a job in place!!! but i have yet to hear back from my job from last year to finalize that i have it back:( stressful! And what school i will be attending is also still up in the air so thats fun:) Anywho, banquet was great....we have dave and aileen, mandy and alex, kevin and nikki, Ian and I, Laura and another guy that I don't really know all at our table....so much fun! All the girls in my dorm spent the day getting ready, doing each other's hair, our nails, etc....it was fun to get all dressed up for the night and go out! And Ian had to borrow clothes from the guys in his dorm since he didn't have anything really dressy and with the help of his dormmates he looked great for the night:) How fun! oh, great fredericton!!

Well, I love being at Redeemer but it has been a great week here at home just seeing everyone from home and celebrating my parent's 25th anniversary....so fun! now, its been a long tiring week and I can't wait to sleep in my bed at Redeemer for a night. Now when i get back it'll be right back into the work since I didn't take any homework home with me...lol, good idea right? oh well, good fun....i can't believe that I am almost done second year...it goes by so fast and yet I can't wait to be done. My sister says i'm insane to say that because she is graduating and now has to look for jobs so she has no idea where she will be living come this summer..... I really have no idea what I will be doing for school yet either...looks like i may not get into mcmaster and then I will be back at Redeemer!! Who would have guessed that one eh? That won't be fun b/c then I have to go back and do more core in my third year so as scary as it is I really wish Mcmaster would work out...we'll see...its in God's hands right? Also, I have no plans as to what to do after graduation...well, apply for masters but back up plan? who needs that....lol...anywho
Well, things are all good with me...no big news or changes...I wish I could be working someplace fun this summer...like go away some place but God seems to be leading me to stay close to home....this way Ian can come to visit New Brunswick and be convinced of how much greater it is than Ontario and I get to be here to stand up at Rachel's wedding which will be a huge honor.

Almost reading break!!!

Hey All!!!
Well, one week from tomorrow i will be flying back to wonderful new brunswick for a week:) It'll be nice to come home since I don't have a lot of homework to do over the break but at the same time......i can see that the break isn't really going to be a break...just like christmas....lol:) But it's still fun....my parents 25th anniversary is feb 28th so there will be a big celebration of that and then we have to go to pei for two days and I have to get fitted for bridesmaid dress and go to the dentist, etc....should be a quick break but the good thing is that I come back on the friday since mom and dad leave for Hawaii so I'll have a few down days before I go back to school:) so thats nice!
I now have a house for next year and when I get a picture I'll post it cuz its so cute!!! lol, so far we have three ppl living in the house but we are looking for one more to make it really cheap...which as a student is always really good! hehe, especially since I will be buying a car for the summer! so exciting!!!
Anyways, back to my busy life...well, somedays:)

Oh how the years go by:)

Lol, really i just made the name of my blog that cuz it was in the song i am listening to....hehe, good times....anywho....after a little post-christmas i'm back at school and have to work again depression.....things are going well:) lol, I am going at my courses again while i now wait to hear back from schools about next year. If all goes well I will be attending McMaster and if not then probably western, waterloo or unb...lol, really definite right? ya, its kinda a crazy time of not knowing for sure where I will be and all so I am just going on the assumption that mcmaster is accepting me and I will be staying in Hamilton:) lol, and hope for the best!!
It really feels like after this year I will be starting a whole new chapter of life...kinda more and more independent, the longer I am away from home and the more I look around and see my friends moving on and marrying and starting their lives I realize how much closer I am to that step.....presently I refuse to admit that I may even be ready to think about being "grown-up" but in reality I suppose it is becoming more true that I will be there soon...lol, I don't know when you can really declare yourself "grown-up" but well, at least independent from the parents, etc....:) lol.
Anyways, life this semester is going well:) The classes are ok...not ones i'm especially interested in but not extremely demanding week to week so thats nice...i feel i might be in for a shock after i transfer but we'll see... Ian and I will soon be celebrating our 4-month annivarsary....lol, hardly sounds like an achievement but you have to get there to get any where else right? good times. Its nice having his family so close and fun getting to know them...we go there at least once a month usually for a sunday or something and visit so its a nice place to go and just get off campus and such:) but I'll be home in February again anyways for my parents 25th annivarsary so that'll be nice.
Well, I hope that you guys are all doing well...just a little update since christmas:) and if any of you guys are feeling as overwhelmed by changes in life right now....well, just remember (as I often forget) that God is in control and will complete His purpose for you..just hold on tight....lol:)
